While we strive for accuracy using public sources including IPEDS, Common Data Sets, and College Board data, always verify all information directly with the institution before making decisions.

AI-generated content, including research reports, scholarship recommendations, essay feedback, and coaching guidance, is produced by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Users should independently verify all critical information.

7. Affiliate disclosure

KidToCollege may receive compensation from third-party affiliate partners including student loan providers and test prep services. This compensation does not influence our educational content or college rankings in any way. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

8. No guarantees

KidToCollege makes no guarantees of admission to any college or university, scholarship awards, financial aid eligibility, or any specific educational outcome. Scholarship amounts, deadlines, and eligibility criteria are subject to change at any time — always verify directly with the institution or scholarship body before relying on any information provided by the Service.

9. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.

Parent and student accounts may be linked by invitation. Both parties consent to sharing saved colleges, search results, checklist items, and related data within the linked account pair.

10. Intellectual property and content use

All AI-generated report content, coaching materials, and site content produced by KidToCollege is provided for the user's personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, resell, republish, or commercially exploit any content generated by the Service without our prior written consent.

The KidToCollege name, logo, design, and original written content are the property of KidToCollege and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the Service
  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute site content for commercial purposes
  • Use the Service to generate content that is fraudulent, misleading, or intended to deceive admissions offices
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

12. Essay coaching disclaimer

The AI essay coaching feature is designed to help students improve their own writing. It provides feedback, structural suggestions, and clarity improvements. It does not write essays on behalf of users. Users are solely responsible for the content of their college application essays and for ensuring their submissions comply with each institution's academic integrity policies.

13. Independence

KidToCollege is 100% independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by any college, university, scholarship body, or educational organisation. The Service does not receive compensation for recommending or featuring any institution.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.
