Eligibility
- Wyoming resident
- Graduate from a Wyoming high school
- Complete the Hathaway Success Curriculum
- Meet minimum GPA and ACT score requirements for each tier (ranging from 2.5 GPA/17 ACT to 3.5 GPA/25 ACT)
- Enroll at the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming community college

The Hathaway Scholarship has four tiers — even students with moderate GPAs and ACT scores can qualify for the Provisional level. Check which tier you qualify for.
Wyoming has no state income tax and very low community college tuition — combined with Hathaway, this makes Wyoming one of the most affordable places to attend college.
The Hathaway Scholarship is only for UW and Wyoming community colleges — if you plan to attend school out of state, you'll need to rely on federal aid and institutional scholarships.
