If you're on the bubble
For Indiana residents with solid math/science track, Purdue Engineering is a realistic target — even direct admit. For OOS applicants in the middle of the band, First-Year Engineering is the realistic entry (then compete internally for placement). For CS specifically, treat Purdue as a reach unless your stats are at or above the Engineering middle-50% and your activities show real CS engagement.
